Chart FX Adds Life (Support) to Microsoft's Indigo
Chart FX for .NET 6.2 was used in the Constoso Health Systems reference application presented by Microsoft in keynote speeches at the San Francisco VSLive! and Boston's Web Services Edge shows to demonstrate the Indigo Web service. Set for general availability in 2006, Indigo, a unified programming model, is intended to make it easy to build secure, reliable Web services-based transactions. Microsoft is vowing dramatic productivity gains with the Indigo communications infrastructure for Web services, which is due in early versions via a Community Technology Preview in March and a beta release by June.
Microsoft's Eric Rudder and Ari Bixhorn demonstrate how Indigo Web services might work in a hospital setting.
